Check out this video. It is a very good visual demonstration of a singing bowl with water in sprinkling. From the videos I have seen online it seems the bowls with more depth cause the water to bubble more.

I feel it’s necessary to warn impressionable people that these bowls do very often contain toxic metals. That means drinking water in them will make you sick, even if you raised it’s charge in some manner. Toxic metals can cause all sorts of horrible life destroying illness. Don’t fuck around. Instead, put your water in a glass and place it in the bowl, or come up with some alternate method of charging the water without it contacting the surface of the bowl.

I believe the traces of unknown metals in the water, combined with the electrical charges, may contain elements which will prove beneficial to our bodies and prolong the onset of death. Watching the water dance, I was mesmerized by the possibilities contained in one small bowl .
