HR 1207 now has 125 sponsors (28.74%) in the US House
Everyday more co-sponsors in the U.S. House of Representatives are adding their support to the Audit the Fed Bill, H.R. 1207. So as of the early morning of May 6th, their is one sponsor and 124 co-sponsors listed, for a total of 125. So currently 125 out 435 representatives, or 28.74% of all US Representatives now are sponsoring this bill.
Check the current level of co-sponsors at this updated page for H.R. 1207 at thomas.loc.gov/ – CLICK HERE. There could be even more co-sponsors as I type this as it appears that the number of representatives co-sponsoring is updated once early in the morning.
If you think it is a good idea that we should audit the fed, don’t just read and cheer the good news of more co-sponsors. Help make more co-sponsors by contacting your representatives and educating others. Let’s pump the stats up to at least 50.1149% – 218 out of 435.
Things you can do:
Call, email, or write your representative.
Create printable petitions and go gather signatures, like me.
Spread the word both by talking to friends and family by voice or digitally.
Remember to be respectful when contacting your representatives or talking to others. It is easier to convince someone to listen to an idea that they don’t believe in by not attacking them and putting them on the defensive. I like the way Ron Paul has a solid philosophy and stands tall when logically explaining his ideas and I try to emulate it and encourage others to do the same.
Turning in Audit the Fed petitions to Colorado Rep. Betsey Markey’s office. Almost 500 signatures!
