‘Tea party’ supports audit of the Fed
From the Fort Collins Coloradoan June 14th edition:
A combination of American flags and signs of protest were raised in the air at noon Saturday as people gathered for a “tea party” in Washington Park in Fort Collins.
AdvertisementThe protesters gathered to urge U.S. Rep. Betsy Markey to take a stand on a new bill, House Resolution 1207, which would audit the Federal Reserve.
The bill is gaining momentum in Washington, D.C., and has 223 co-sponsors in Congress. Markey is not a sponsor.
After hearing that news, the crowd chanted, “Audit the Fed,” and vowed to contact their representatives to express their feelings about the bill.
…
Brothers Gary Wallace and Larry Wallace of Loveland were two of the attendees, armed with flags and information on HR 1207.“The Federal Reserve is the head of the dragon,” Larry Wallace said.

The psych drugs being pushed onto innocent children labeled “ADHD” have now been linked to an alarming 500 percent increase in the risk of sudden cardiac death.
But the FDA says: Don’t worry about it! The benefits outweigh the risks! (Where have we heard that before?)
Read the real story behind this disturbing (but not surprising) discovery that reveals Big Pharma is killing children with high-profit psychiatric drugs.

Scientists have found out what really causes cancer. And guess what? It’s exactly as we’ve been talking about here on NaturalNews for years.
Cancer is caused by a miscommunication between cells that allows them to grow in an incontrolled manner, unbridled by their neighboring cells which are calling for the cancerous cells to self-terminate.
But there’s one amazing nutrient that allows cells to re-establish healthy communication, ending the cancerous growth and halting cancer before it can really get started. That nutrient, not surprisingly, is vitamin D.
Today’s feature story by Sherry Baker reveals what western scientists have now discovered about vitamin D, and why it is the answer for preventing cancer:

CDC to mix avian, human flu viruses in pandemic study
Robert Roos News Editor
Jan 14, 2004 (CIDRAP News) – One of the worst fears of infectious disease experts is that the H5N1 avian influenza virus now circulating in parts of Asia will combine with a human-adapted flu virus to create a deadly new flu virus that could spread around the world.
That could happen, scientists predict, if someone who is already infected with an ordinary flu virus contracts the avian virus at the same time. The avian virus has already caused at least 48 confirmed human illness cases in Asia, of which 35 have been fatal. The virus has shown little ability to spread from person to person, but the fear is that a hybrid could combine the killing power of the avian virus with the transmissibility of human flu viruses.
Now, rather than waiting to see if nature spawns such a hybrid, US scientists are planning to try to breed one themselves—in the name of preparedness.

41 U.S. Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Agency Veterans Challenge the Official Account of 9/11
by Alan Miller
More than 40 U.S. Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence Agency veterans have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and most have called for a new investigation. It is outrageous that most Americans are entirely unaware of their publicly stated concerns — a direct result of the refusal of national print and broadcast news organizations to cover this extremely important issue. There is no denying the credibility of these individuals or their loyalty to their country as demonstrated by their years of service collecting and analyzing information and planning and carrying out operations critical to the national security of the United States.
These 41 individuals formerly served in the U.S. State Department, the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the branches of the U.S. Military. They are listed below by their branch of service. [To read their individual statements and full complementary information, see attached document "Counterterrorism Veterans"].

Recycled radioactive metal contaminates consumer products
Thousands of everyday products and materials containing radioactive metals are surfacing across the United States and around the world.
Common kitchen cheese graters, reclining chairs, women’s handbags and tableware manufactured with contaminated metals have been identified, some after having been in circulation for as long as a decade. So have fencing wire and fence posts, shovel blades, elevator buttons, airline parts and steel used in construction.
But thousands of consumer goods and millions of pounds of unfinished metal and its byproducts have been found to contain low levels of radiation, and experts think the true amount could be much higher, perhaps by a factor of 10.

Japanese pair arrested in Italy with US bonds worth $134 billion
Italian prosecutors were trying to establish yesterday whether US bonds with a face value of $134 billion seized from two alleged smugglers were real or counterfeit.
The bonds were found when the two men — said to be Japanese but as yet not identified — were arrested while attempting to cross into Switzerland from Italy by train at the frontier town of Chiasso this month. Prosecutors in Como said that the two men had hidden the bonds in the false bottom of a suitcase.

The three Colorado Congressmen– Lamborn, Perlmutter and Polis that have signed on to HR-1207, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009, deserve many kudos and thanks from their constituents.
Conspicuously missing are the other four US Reps: DeGette, Coffman, Markey and Salazar. HR-1207 is a bi-partisan bill that calls for the first ever outside audit of the Federal Reserve in order to bring about Congressional oversight. The quasi-private Fed Bank chartered by Congress has remained completely outside of Congressional control in handing out $7.75 Trillion of taxpayer-backed funding to banks and financial companies. The purpose of HR-1207 is to correct that.
It is simply unacceptable and incomprehensible why the rest of the Colorado Delegation would not sign on to such a necessary and obvious need to control an out-of-control agency. The taxpayers and contituents of the four missing members should be calling and emailing their office on this issue everyday until they sign on. Also, our two US Senators, Udall and Bennet, need to do the same for the companion Bill in the Senate, S-604. The time is now to audit the Fed. There is simply no reasonable explanation for not doing so.

Round and Round GM Goes
Jun 10th, 2009 | By Richard Marmo
Round and round GM goes and where she stops, nobody knows. Even a cursory examination of the various news reports, on the net at MSNBC or through the spoon-feeding of NBC Nightly News that arrives via your nice, new, widescreen digital television set, reaches the conclusion that no one really knows what they’re talking about.
By the time you finish wading thru all the contradictory comments, jawboning and visits to Fantasy Island, your head has a very good chance of suffering mental whiplash, if not actual severe hernia of the mind. Let’s see if there’s any way to make sense of the mess.

Audit the Fed Bill Reaches Crucial Benchmark
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ron Paul’s Federal Reserve Transparency Act, HR 1207, has reached and surpassed the level of 218 cosponsors in the House of Representatives, which means it is now cosponsored by a majority of the members.
The 218th cosponsor was Dennis Kucinich (OH-10), and the bill has since received its 222nd cosponsor.
“The tremendous grass-roots and bipartisan support in Congress for HR 1207 is an indicator of how mainstream America is fed up with Fed secrecy,” said Congressman Paul. “I look forward to this issue receiving greater public exposure.”
Hearings on Federal Reserve transparency are expected within the next month, as part of the Financial Services Committee’s series of hearings on regulatory reform.
