In Theory TV now using Bambuser

June 16th, 2010 No comments

Future broadcasts of ITTV will be broadcast using Bambuser. I like that I can broadcast from my mobile phone as well as use Flash Media Live Encoder for Mac. The front page of InTheory.TV will now feature the embed from Bambuser, which is replacing my feed at Justin.TV. At the time of this post my JTV post had 17,540 Views.

Thank you JTV for being a quality live broadcasting system, but being able to broadcast from my Android phone but Bambuser over the top. I like how I can interact from my phone with the chat. Perhaps when JTV comes out with their Android App I will switch back, but for now I will BaMBusser!

Looking forward to 2010… infocasting interactively

December 27th, 2009 No comments

Recently in the BoldVoices.TV chat room one of the chatters, FreeNslaved, brought up the point that he didn’t care for the term “show” being used by the different broadcasters when referring to their broadcasts. Made me think, “hmmm… yes, it isn’t so much a SHOW but a conversation, where I share digital information with the viewers. But they are also more than just passive viewers they are a part of the show. I will now refer to them as team members.

So I have re-branded my web site and changed how I refer to my broadcast. I’m using FreeNslaved suggested term: infocast. I have also added the interactive part to how I refer to it, fully calling them: Interactive-Infocasts.

With that I have recreated the introduction of my show with a focused description of my infocasts. Here is the new introduction:

Infocasting interactively to encourage intelligent consideration. Covering theories of liberty, economic conspiracy, power elite propaganda ploys, health, universal chaotic synchronization, and beyond. I’m your host, In Theory: fan of freedom, fan of fun. In theory we live in a rational world with liberty and justice for all. Join me as I explore the possibility.
