I wanted to enjoy my Kava Kava and to know how it makes me feel to drink it after I vibrated it in a water solution.
Note: I am not an expert with these bowls and this is the only one I have ever had. People that know more about them than me have strongly told me not to drink or eat anything directly out of the bowl as the metal could leach into the food or water and make you sick. Each bowl can be different in the metals used. That is why I am using the glass shot glass and putting the liquid I plan on drinking in it, and not using the same water as in the bowl.

Update April 2nd: If you live in another Colorado district besides CD4, I now have made petitions for all 7 of Colorado’s Congressional Districts.

Right now, due to a US Code it is not possible for our representatives in Congress, nor any other agency to fully audit the Federal Reserve. The “Audit the Fed Bill” H.R. 1207 would strike portions of US code, 31 USC 714, and order an audit of the Federal Reserve. We need transparency NOW. The private Federal Reserve is creating Trillions of dollars NOW and we need to know what this internally secretive organization is up to and what is on their books, as they are playing with all of our futures and value of the dollar.
HR 1207 has 44 co-sponsors as of March 26th! Ask your Representative to co-sponsor HR 1207 too! Check to see if your representative has co-sponsored the bill.
I live in Fort Collins, Colorado which is in the 4th Congressional District, and my Representative is Betsey Markey (D). I have contacted her office several time asking her to co-sponsor the bill. The answer I got was that she is not going to take a stance on the bill until and if it moves out of committee. I want her to change her mind and to support and cosponsor the bill now, and I want you to help me convince her.
Here is a petition you can download, print out, gather signatures with, and then turn in to one of Betsey Markey’s offices. This petition is asking Betsey Markey specifically to cosponsor H.R. 1207 and make every effort to seek roll call votes.
You can download this pdf and either print up one page and get a few signatures from you, your friends, and families and fax it in, or, print up multiple pages and go out into your neighborhood or in front of a grocery store and gather pages of signatures and mail them in. Or do something in between.
Download this PDF and get collecting: audit-the-fed-petition-betsey-markey.pdf
Email this page to your friends and family who live in the CD4 and see if they will help in our effort. The CD4 covers a wide area of Colorado. The Fourth Congressional district of Colorado is located in Northern, Eastern and Southeastern Colorado, encompassing most of Colorado’s rural Eastern Plains, as well as the cities of Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and Longmont in North-Central Colorado, and Fort Morgan, Sterling, Lamar, and Las Animas in Eastern and Southeastern Colorado.
Hey, don’t have time to print up a petition, but want to let your representative to co-sponsor H.R. 1207? Well there is an online petition you can sign! You can digitally sign it HERE

My SCOBY is slowwwwlllly growing larger. I still don’t have any heating system set up and the liquid has been under 64 for most of the time. The air temp in the house has been between 66F and 70F, but my tiles are cold. Here is a video of day 8.
Johnny Justice got a “Kombucha heating pad” with a regulator and reports quick brewing with a bubbling “nutrient bath” at the optimal temp of 84F.
Also there is a new Kombucha social network: http://kombucha.ning.com If you are making your own Kombucha or want to, why not join?

This post has information and video links about the effects of sound on form of solids and liquids.
From Wikipedia:
Cymatics is the study of wave phenomena. It is typically associated with the physical patterns produced through the interaction of sound waves in a medium.
A simple experiment demonstrating the visualisation of cymatics can be done by sprinkling sand on a metal plate and vibrating the plate, for example by drawing a violin bow along the edge, the sand will then form itself into standing wave patterns such as simple concentric circles. The higher the frequency, the more complex the shapes produced, with certain shapes having similarities to traditional mandala designs.

A demonstration of “charging” water in a singing bowl. By rubbing the beater around the bowl for a few minutes, the water begins to pop up, and bubbles are formed. The water isn’t hot. Also if you stop for a while after you get the water in sync vibrationally and then start rubbing the bowl again, it will starting popping and bubbling much quicker than the first time. I saw a video online of someone doing this and I had came across one of these bowls myself a year ago and tried it myself. The older singing bowls were made with different mixes of metals and from what I have read from people that know much more about them than I do, don’t drink water from them as some of the heavy metals could get into the water and make you sick. After the below video experiment the mat that the bowl sat on was lightly stained the color of the bowl. If you try this experiment yourself and make a video of it, please embed the video in the comments section below. Here is my experiment without any cuts:
